First UMC, Brownsville is
using Group's Power Lab
curriculum for our VBS during the week of
June 29 -- July 3. We will be finished with
the decorations on Sunday, July 6th.
If any of you are using the
same curriculum later in the summer and
would like to have some of the larger
decorations, please contact me via e-mail at
fumcb-laura@sbcglobal.net.
FUMC, Weslaco was kind enough
to share them with us. So, we're just
trying to do the same for someone else.

The only stipulation is that
you will need to pick them up here in
Brownsville.

Fun Service Opportunity
There is camp this summer for 4th,5th & 6th
grades, called "M.A.D. (Music-Art-Drama)CAMP
2008 Treasures in the Field, to be held July
29 thur Aug. 2 at Mt. Wesley. Our own Rev.
Ron Welborn, FUMC La Feria, is the Dean.
Registration deadline for this camp is July
14.
